Local Businesses Invited to Support 3rd Staines Scouts Summer Fair
3rd Staines Scout Group is calling on local businesses to support its Summer Fair and help raise vital funds for an exciting Scout adventure to Norway.
Supporting young people through adventure
3rd Staines Scout Group will be holding its annual Summer Fair on Saturday 13th June 2026 at its HQ on Lansdowne Road, Staines.
This year’s fair plays an important role in the group’s fundraising efforts, as 42 Scouts prepare to travel to Norway for an action-packed week of hiking, kayaking, white-water rafting and other outdoor activities.
The Scouts have been fundraising over the last 12 months towards a target of £15,000, and the Summer Fair will be their final fundraising event before the trip.
Businesses asked to donate raffle prizes
Local businesses are being invited to support the group by donating raffle prizes for the fair. In return, supporting businesses will be mentioned in the event programme, with around 700–800 copies expected to be sold locally.

The Summer Fair will include a raffle, BBQ, tombola, games and much more, making it a fun community event for families, supporters and local residents.
