The Spelthorne Business Forum (SBF) is delighted to announce the appointment
of Councillor Med Buck, the former Mayor of Spelthorne, as its new Chair.

Cllr Buck brings an exceptional blend of leadership, professional expertise, and
community passion to the role. He is holder of a Master of Business Administration
(MBA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), he has
extensive experience in governance, management, leadership and strategic
planning. Alongside his strong business acumen, Cllr Buck is also a Fellow of the
Royal Society of Public Health and has served for more than 30 years across the
NHS, private, and voluntary sectors in senior leadership roles.

As former Mayor of Spelthorne, Cllr Buck has been a tireless advocate for local
enterprise, regularly engaging with businesses across the borough and championing
their vital contribution to the local economy. His dedication to strengthening
community ties, supporting entrepreneurship, and encouraging growth reflects the
very ethos of the Forum.
