CREST21 Business Awards is extending the closing date for applications to make it even easier to showcase the sustainable work by your company.
The free to enter awards were originally due to be closed to further entries next week but the deadline is now Friday 20 March.
The winner of the Sustainability Hero of the Year Award will receive the opportunity of a complimentary place on one of the
University of Surrey’s week-long master level modules through its highly prestigious Centre for Environment and Sustainability.
Other category winners will receive a complimentary sustainability consultation session with one of the centre’s leading academics.
Professor Angela Druckman, Director of CES, said: “CREST21 Award winners are in for a treat with prizes for each category donated
by our Centre for Environment and Sustainability.” Adding: “Together we can make a difference! By joining forces, category winners
and expert academics can work together to help advance sustainability practices within organisations.”
CREST21 Business Awards are being presented by the Woking News & Mail in association with the University’s CES and supported by
headline sponsor Surrey County Council and will be live-streamed on 20 May.
So that nobody misses out on learning about how Surrey businesses and organisations are working to protect the environment the
News & Mail will be spotlighting entrants – to ensure we celebrate every contribution that is being made to care for our environment
and community.
The five categories are: Transforming Food Award, Going Circular Award, Efficiency Champion Award, Sustainability Impact Award and Resilience in Crisis Award with a sixth award for the judges’ choice of Sustainability Hero.
