Autism and Neurodivergence Training

Various Dates and duration of workshops – please read on for more information

This is an offer of free training at differing levels for community groups and employers who as part of their day-to-day business engage with people with autism and neurodivergence.   

The training takes place in Feb and March – details below via the training org:  

An organisation can reserve up to 5 places on any workshop for their staff, volunteers, and supporters

The aim of these workshops is to increase the understanding of the needs of autistic and neurodivergent customers, leading to good experiences for autistic people and potentially increased custom for businesses and services.

The workshops will be online using Teams, and you can sign up using the online form we have set up – Autism Friendly Surrey – Training workshops – Fill in form

The workshops will be co-presented by our autistic lived experience trainers who will be sharing their experiences, as well as some of the great work businesses and services are already doing.

There are three levels of training, and people are welcome to join whichever workshop they feel best meets their needs. 

Level 1 – 1.5hr workshops

• Tuesday 3^rd February – 10am to 11.30am
• Thursday 12^th February – 3pm to 4.30pm

Level 2 – 2.5hr workshops

• Wednesday 4^th February – 10am to 12.30pm
• Tuesday 10^th March – 2pm to 4.30pm

Level 3 – 4hr workshops

Focusing on children and young people

• Thursday 19^th February – 1pm to 5pm
• Wednesday 18^th March – 1pm to 5pm

Focusing on adults

• Thursday 26^th February – 1pm to 5pm
• Tuesday 24^th March – 1pm to 5pm
