Build stronger public sector business cases
The Institute of Economic Development (iED) is hosting a three-part CPD webinar series on Business Case Development, delivered by Nigel Wilcock, Executive Director of the iED.
This programme provides an introduction to developing effective business cases for the public sector, helping delegates understand how to apply the Five Cases Model without losing momentum or clarity in project development.

- Project alternatives and options appraisal
- Economic outputs and impact calculations
- Latest HM Treasury Green Book guidance
The sessions will use real examples to explore the level of detail required at each stage and how business case requirements should remain proportionate to the scale of public sector contribution.
This CPD course is open to both iED members and non-members. It is also one of the modules within the Advanced Certificate in Economic Development.
