A Special Walk for a Special Year

2025 marks 50 years of Spelthorne, and what better way to celebrate than by coming together as a community for a fun, feel-good 5K charity walk with the Mayor?

Whether you walk, run, jog, scoot, skip, ride or roll, everyone is welcome to take part in this relaxed riverside event and help raise money for some amazing local causes.

Who You’ll Be Supporting

All money raised will go directly to support important local organisations including:

• Citizens Advice Runnymede & Spelthorne
• Ashford and St. Peter’s NHS Trust
• Stanwell Food Bank
• Manor Mead School
• Newlife Charity for Disabled Children

Your steps really can make a difference.

What to Expect on the Day

• A beautiful 5K route along the river at Lammas Park
• The chance to walk with friends, family, or colleagues
• A post-walk bring-your-own picnic to relax and enjoy the park
• A fantastic community atmosphere in support of truly meaningful causes

You don’t need to be super fit or fast, just bring your energy and your community spirit!
