Re-enter your duck or join the race with a new one
The much-loved MidasPlus Charity Duck Race returns on Sunday 28 June 2026 as part of Staines-upon-Thames Day.
Local businesses, charities, schools and community groups are invited to take part by re-entering last year’s duck or purchasing a new one. The event raises funds and awareness for MidasPlus, helping vulnerable local people at a time when requests for support are increasing.
Entry options
- £25 to re-enter last year’s duck
- £50 for a new duck
- Decorate your duck and make it stand out
- Businesses can use the race as a fun team activity
When and where?
Ducks should be dropped off by the bridge to Two Rivers on Church Street between 12:30pm and 1:30pm on race day.
The race starts near the bridge to Two Rivers in Church Street, with the ducks racing down the River Colne and into the Thames before finishing near the jetty opposite the Old Town Hall in the Memorial Gardens.
If you cannot drop off your duck on the day, please contact MidasPlus in advance to arrange collection.
