New to FSB Surrey we are pleased to announce our new initiative in collaboration with FSB members – Surrey Business Women’s Network – Empowering Women in Business.

Surrey Networked Women is a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community created to empower women in business across Surrey. We exist to:

• Connect professional women through meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and genuine relationships
• Collaborate through opportunities to grow and learn in a spirit of mutual support
• Champion members as they navigate entrepreneurship, leadership, and career development
• Empower through tools, insights, and a peer-driven, safe space to thrive personally and professionally

Whether it’s balancing business and family life, overcoming self-doubt, breaking through growth plateaus, or finding your voice—this network offers practical support and a strong sense of community for every stage of the journey.

Why are we launching this initiative?

Creating a local business network specifically for women is vital because the challenges women face in business are often unique and deeply personal – ranging from balancing caregiving responsibilities to navigating confidence gaps, breaking through systemic barriers, or simply being heard in male dominated industries. While business ownership is empowering, it can also be isolating – especially when you’re juggling multiple roles. A local, women-focused network offers a safe and supportive space where these shared experiences are understood, validated, and addressed.

It creates opportunities for meaningful connection, peer mentoring, and tailored support that reflects the realities of being a woman in business today. By building community at a local level, we not only strengthen individual women, but also foster a thriving, resilient ecosystem of businesses that uplift one another.

This forum is in partnership with FSB members who have come together to bring an inclusive and supportive programme of events, speakers and activities to help the business women of Surrey navigate the challenges of running a business.
