The Windsor Debates

30 September 2016 @ 11:30 am - 1 October 2016 @ 10:30 am BST

thames valley logoThe “Windsor Debates” is a flagship series of prestigious events, held twice a year at Windsor Castle exclusively for board and senior level business leaders of major public and private organisations who are operating in a complex, global business environment, and need to be aware of trends that could impact on their future strategies.

Guests gain an in-depth understanding of business-critical issues in a relaxed, confidential environment, and use the theme and occasion for useful and open discussions with their peers. The event is held under the Chatham House Rule. The high level of interactivity between guests – and speakers and guests – is a unique feature of this series.

Through this rolling programme, launched in 2007, the Chamber is able to feed the views of leading UK companies into the Government’s decision-making process at both national and European levels, to ensure that policies and initiatives in development phase support a positive business environment from the outset.

Business leaders convene at St. George’s House to share opinions and insights following presentations by subject matter experts, so that a deep understanding of complex issues is gained through frank, open conversation: speakers and participants alike are steered through a myriad of changing scenarios to determine the likely impact on the business community. The agenda at the Windsor Debates is ultimately driven by the participants within the over-arching theme. Consensus views, concerns and recommendations are documented following the event for presentation to Government and other influencers, as well as to inform our membership and partners within the Thames Valley and beyond.
