It has been a tough 17 months and as we ease our way to economic recovery we would like to remind you of some FSB events conducted during and following lockdowns. In Surrey we spread our membership across two FSB Regions namely South Central and South East. Click here for reports from each of them for virtual networking with FSB in Surrey. 

East Surrey Peer to Peer Mentoring

Would you like to boost your confidence as a Business Leader and accelerate your business growth? Following the recent success of Peer to Peer Mentoring and our lobbying work with Coast to Capital LEP on your behalf, we are very pleased to announce this free of charge opportunity. The programme comprises confidential peer network meetings of up to 11 cohort members who meet monthly over a six month period. The programme is available to any SME business that has: 

• Operated for at least 1 year
• Has at least 5 employees (in the creative sector you can have 1 employee with 4 additional freelancers) 
• An aspiration to improve

Ideally, participants should also have: 

• The potential to scale up 
• The ability or potential to export

Surrey Virtual Networking
Friday  13 August – 11.45am for a 12noon start-1pm

South Central Women in Business Networking
Tuesday 14 September – 9.30am-10.30am
These female focused events are a great option for those new to networking and looking for a friendly place to start, but also great for those with more networking experience who would like to grow their contacts within a community of inspiring women in business! These events are targeted at people from small businesses across Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey and Thames Valley. Book your place here.

Alongside FSB, the Apprenticeship & Skills Hub are hosting an event to support local SMEs to grow their business through apprenticeships and skills options. This is a free event with lunch provided and limited spaces, so book your place with the Apprenticeship and Skills Hub early here. You will have the opportunity to network with other local business owners, meet the Apprenticeships and Skills hub team and meet local training providers who can discuss delivery and support of all apprenticeship training programmes.
