Hello to all our wonderful Surrey businesses and partners,

I hope you are keeping well and managing to stay cool during this recent spell of extreme heat. It certainly feels like summer has arrived with a bang! I hope you’re looking after yourselves, staying hydrated and, if you’re lucky enough, planning some well-earned time off over the summer.

Welcome to your July FSB Surrey newsletter. As always, this is a working document that will be updated regularly with new events, opportunities and business support, so please do keep an eye out for future updates.

Although I’ve scaled back the events programme during July and August to allow for the holiday season, there are still some great opportunities to connect, learn and network, so I hope you’ll be able to join us if you’re around. I have also included an event in Chichester. Let me know if you want more Sussex & Kent events included!

One of the highlights of the past month must be the Spelthorne Business Plan Competition Final. What a fantastic evening it was, celebrating the ambition, creativity and entrepreneurial talent we have here in Surrey. A huge congratulations to Claire, our well-deserved winner, and to all the finalists who did an outstanding job presenting their businesses. It was a real reminder of the strength and passion within our local business community.

As always, everything we do is shaped by your feedback. If you have an idea for an event, a topic you’d like us to cover, or if you’d like to host or speak at a future session, I’d love to hear from you.

If you’d like to catch up, discuss your business or explore how FSB can support you, please use the Book Time with Me link in my signature.
