New Funding Opportunity for Surrey’s Hospitality Sector
Hospitality businesses and organisations across Surrey are being encouraged to explore a new £10 million government Hospitality Grant Scheme.
The three-year programme is designed to support hospitality businesses and community venues, including village pubs, family-run restaurants and neighbourhood cafés.
What Will the Scheme Support?
The programme aims to support activity including:
- Entrepreneurs starting new hospitality businesses
- Training schemes helping young people into their first jobs
- Community venues looking to adapt and grow
£3 million of the funding has been specifically allocated to support Pub is The Hub, an independent non-profit organisation helping pubs in rural and deprived communities diversify their services.
When Can Businesses Apply?
Guidance for the Hospitality Grant Scheme is now available, with applications expected to open from the end of September 2026.
