Minding Her Own Business UK launches a female only event – ‘Lift off’

Since the pandemic we have seen a surge in new small businesses, most of which have been started by women. There is very little support for women who are juggling running a business with family, life and other commitments.
Local business owners Christabel Flaherty and Ruth Conlon felt stuck and lonely when starting their businesses, they quickly saw a demand with like minded women who wanted to come together and feel supported on their entrepreneurial journey but couldn’t find anything local. So, they decided to start their own. Minding Her Own Business UK is a community for all women to feel included, understood and celebrated.

Their first networking event has generated a lot of interest amongst local female owned businesses.
This event is for women who want to connect and build relationships with like minded women who can relate and understand the challenges of being a woman in business with the opportunity to gain knowledge and strategies on how to move forward in their business.

Traditional networking can feel quite uncomfortable and intimidating at times, Minding Her Own Business UK events are anything but traditional. From afternoon tea networking to goody bags they are changing the shape of networking.
“Women should no longer feel like they don’t belong in the world of business. We can build successful businesses, raise families and empower each other along the way.” Says Christabel Flaherty CEO of Marketing Muse and Co-founder of Minding Her Own Business UK.

The highly anticipated event will take place at a local female owned business – Dramatize tea rooms, Shepperton—26th January 2022.
