Natasha’s Law will require food businesses to provide full ingredient lists and allergen information on foods pre-packaged for direct sale in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The law has been made following the death of Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, who suffered a fatal anaphylactic reaction from eating a sesame seed in a Prêt à Manger baguette in July 2016.
To see if Natasha’s Law is applicable to your business and what you will need to do then go to The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website which outlines the full legislation and offers resources for all types of food businesses.
