Order Local – how we’re helping food and drink businesses through Lockdown 2

With England on the brink of another lockdown, restaurants, pubs and bars are having to shutter up their businesses yet again.

Takeaway deliveries and collection services were a lifeline to many hospitality operators during the last national lockdown – and continue to be so across the UK as other restrictions are already in place for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

And we want to help local businesses get through another tough month and the lead up to Christmas by shouting about their offerings.

That’s why, together with our sister network of national and regional news websites around the country, are launching our nationwide Order Local campaign.

We’ve built a listings platform that allows hospitality businesses to list their takeaway offerings and advertise them to our millions of readers – all for free.

If you’re operating a delivery or collection service, then you can fill in this form, which is also below, to be added to the search tool.

Readers can then put in their postcode to find local restaurants and bars on their doorstep to order.

Any restaurant, bar, pub, brewery, drinks producer, cafe, bakery, farm shop or other establishment offering food and drink delivery or collections during lockdown can get involved

It’s free to list your business and it will then start to appear for some of the 500,000 people across the UK who use InYourArea each day and also be featured on some of Reach PLC’s regional titles from the Manchester Evening News to Cornwall Live.
