A New Mark for Businesses and Organisations Connected to the Surrey Hills
Surrey Hills Enterprises has launched Proudly Surrey Hills, a new member mark designed to give businesses, charities and organisations a clear and recognisable way to show their connection and commitment to the Surrey Hills.
The new mark was launched on 22 September 2026 alongside a redesigned Surrey Hills Enterprises website, with the aim of making it easier for organisations to connect, collaborate and contribute to a thriving and sustainable local economy.
Surrey Hills Enterprises is a Community Interest Company bringing together more than 240 businesses, charities and organisations with an economic interest in the Surrey Hills.
What Is Proudly Surrey Hills?
Proudly Surrey Hills is the new member mark available to eligible Surrey Hills Enterprises members.
It has been created as a simpler and more recognisable way for organisations to demonstrate their connection to the Surrey Hills and the shared values of the Surrey Hills Enterprises community.
The mark reflects commitments including:
- Supporting a thriving and sustainable local economy
- Building stronger local connections and collaboration
- Supporting local businesses, producers and organisations
- Encouraging responsible and sustainable ways of working
- Contributing positively to Surrey Hills communities
Eligible members can display the Proudly Surrey Hills mark on websites, marketing materials, products, premises and other communications.
Replacing the Existing Trade Mark Surrey Hills
The new mark will gradually replace the existing Trade Mark Surrey Hills.
Surrey Hills Enterprises developed the new identity following market research and conversations with members, businesses and partners, which found that customers and visitors did not always immediately understand what the previous Trade Mark represented.
Existing Trade Mark holders will have a 12-month transition period, while organisations previously awarded the Gold Trade Mark will retain their Gold recognition.
A New Digital Home for Surrey Hills Businesses
The launch also includes a completely redesigned Surrey Hills Enterprises website created specifically for businesses, charities and other organisations.
The new website includes:
- A dedicated Member Hub
- Business resources covering marketing, SEO, AI, communications and sustainability
- Training, webinars and mentoring opportunities
- Networking and introductions to other members
- Information about membership and business support
- Opportunities to contribute news, events and stories
- Corporate partnership and sponsorship opportunities
- Practical guidance and FAQs for organisations engaging with the Surrey Hills economy

Surrey Hills Enterprises says the initiative is about more than simply displaying a mark.
